Study finds mycotoxin solution in common amino acid

Supplementing cattle diets with 5-hydroxytryptophan, a naturally occurring amino acid also known as 5-HTP, may improve feed intake and decrease other symptoms associated with harmful doses of ergot alkaloids, according to new research.
