African swine fever returns to affect pigs in Germany, Poland

After a prolonged hiatus, one herd of domestic swine in each of Germany and Poland have tested positive for ASF in the past few days, while more regions in the Philippines are managing new outbreaks and pig losses have been mounting in northeastern India.
