Over the past two weeks, the number of African swine fever (ASF) outbreaks recorded in Indonesia has increased significantly, with cases now confirmed in five provinces since the start of 2024.
Indonesia records spread in African swine fever cases
ASF has been spreading in Indonesia, northeastern India and Vietnam recently, while classical swine fever (CSF) has been detected in an eastern region of Russia for the first time since 2020.
